NAPLES, Fla. – Carroll & Carroll, Inc.’s real estate appraiser Timothy Sunyog has earned his MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, a professional association which encourages ethical appraisal practices and the advancement of professionalism.

The MAI designation is held by professional appraisers who have expertise in the valuation and evaluation of commercial, industrial, residential and other types of properties, and can provide expert advice regarding real estate investment decisions. In order to earn the MAI designation, Sunyog has demonstrated good moral character and fulfilled requirements regarding standards and ethics, education, course exams, demonstration of knowledge and 4,500 hours of specialized work experience.

Sunyog graduated from Rollins College with a degree in economics in 2004. He joined the Carroll & Carroll, Inc. team in 2005 and has since specialized in commercial real estate appraisal. As a State-Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, Sunyog’s practice includes appraisals for mortgage lending, condemnation, insurable value, feasibility studies, buy-sell decisions, estate planning and Ad Valorem tax appeal. Sunyog has additional expertise in valuing religious properties.
