Appraisers & Qualifications

Carroll & Carroll, Inc. reflects the desire of a long-time local family to stay rooted in the place it loves.  The essential characteristics that attracted our forebears to the area in 1896 still remain.  We came to be real estate appraisers through a history of involvement with the real estate brokerage community and we still feel an affinity for the that group.

 

Vacant land and residential appraisals were our beginning.  Those remain the bedrock of our practice.  Cindy Carroll's advent to the firm in 1986 heralded the beginning of a well organized and productive residential division that remains second to none.  It was Ernie Carroll's work in the early 1980's with property owners affected by takings for I-75 that led us into the specialized field of condemnation appraisal work.  Today, appraisals made in connection with litigation are an important and growing segment of our practice.  Ernie also lead us into commercial appraisals. That practice is carried forward by Ray Carroll who heads a commercial division that continues to expand.

 

The mission of Carroll & Carroll, Inc. is to translate our unique experience of the history, geography and economy of southwest Florida into appraisals that are trusted and reliable.
